The Baltimore Ravens’ COVID-19 outbreak was supposed to be coming to an end, or at least that was what the NFL told fans Sunday. Regardless of what those in New York think, the Ravens continue to have players test positive for the coronavirus. When I say players, I’m not just talking about practice squad players, but starters.
The latest to join the other starters on the Reserve/COVID-19 List? None other than Willie Snead. This per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.

He is the 7th projected starter on Baltimore's offense to test positive.
This is the 8th straight day of at least one positive test for Baltimore.
At this point the Ravens won’t have 53 players available to play on Tuesday, if the NFL decides to keep the game at that time. They can play with less than 53, but it won’t be fun.
Snead is just the latest on a long list of players who have tested positive this week leading up to the game which was originally scheduled for Thanksgiving night. The players who have tested positive so far are:
OLB Matthew Judon
TE Mark Andrews
OL D.J. Fluker
OLB Jaylon Ferguson
G Will Holden
DT Broderick Washington
CB Khalil Dorsey (IR)
CB Tavon Young (IR)
QB Lamar Jackson
FB Patrick Ricard
DE Justin Madubuike
LS Morgan Cox
DE Calais Campbell
RB Mark Ingram
RB J.K. Dobbins
NT Brandon Williams (high risk contact)
OLB Pernell McPhee
OL Matt Skura
OL Patrick Mekari
DE Jihad Ward
QB Trace McSorley
The Ravens now have only two quarterbacks on their active roster. Robert Griffin III and practice squad QB Tyler Huntley. It is worth noting Griffin did beat the Steelers in Week 17 last year at M&T Bank Stadium while the Ravens rested Jackson and many other starters.
The hope is the Ravens’ outbreak will get under control before the team is scheduled to travel to Pittsburgh for the Tuesday night prime time game.
In the meantime, be sure to stay tuned to BTSC for the latest news and notes surrounding the Steelers and Ravens Week 12 game.
