After the Steelers suffered their second straight loss, they are heavily favored on the road Monday night.

The Pittsburgh Steelers saw a different streak begin in Week 14 as they dropped their second straight game of the season. With a full week, plus the extra day because of playing on Monday night, this may be the closest thing to normal they have experienced in weeks. Hopefully an AFC North matchup in prime time is what they need to get back on track.

Can the Steelers offense get out of the funk they have been in the last few weeks? Will their receivers finally do a better job catching the ball? Can they lock up the AFC North?

When it comes to the betting lines for Monday night’s game, the following information is the current consensus spread and over/under for the Steelers this week as reported by oddsshark.com.

Game Info: Week 15

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cincinnati Bengals

Monday, December 21, 2020 at 8:15 PM

Betting line: -12.5

Over/under: 40.5

Last Regular Season Meeting: Steelers (W) 36-10 vs Bengals

Win streak: 11 games PIT

Last 3 Meetings: PIT 3 - 0 CIN

Last 10 Meetings: PIT 10 - 0 CIN

The opening line on the game was at -4 when the schedule was released in May. This line moved in the Steelers favor as they continued their winning streak to begin the season. After suffering the loss of quarterback Joe Burrow for the season, the Bengals have only scored 7 points in each of the last two games causing the line to move majorly in the favor of the Steelers.

Being favored on Monday, the Steelers have a current moneyline on sportsbettingdime.com of -700 to win the game straight up, which is the equivalent of 1/7 odds. So a $20 bet placed on the Steelers over the Bengals would have a payout of $22.86 ($2.86 plus the original $20 bet). The Bengals have a current moneyline of +550, or 11/2 odds. Therefore the same $20 bet placed on Buffalo to win straight up would also have a payout of $130 ($110 plus the original $20 bet) .

According to Oddsshark.com, the Steelers are 2-4 against the spread in their last 6 games and are 7-0 straight up in the last 7 games in Cincinnati. The Steelers also have gone UNDER in 5 of their last 6 games and have gone UNDER in 10 of their last 15 games against the AFC North.

If looking at the futures bets, the Steelers odds to win the Super Bowl vary from 11/2 to 27/2. The Steelers odds to win the AFC Championship are 5/1 odds with the Kansas City Chiefs having the best odds. As for winning the AFC North, the Steelers are currently at 1/10 odds and are ahead of the Browns at 22/1 odds. Both the Ravens and Bengals are now eliminated.
