The Behind The Steel Curtain survivor pool continued on in Week 14 as the choices approach having half of the teams being used up. With just under 20 contestants remaining, one upset could bring everything to an end. Week 14 was not that week as only one person was eliminated. While technically there were 355 total entries, I had one entry in each league as the commissioner so there were 352 different contestants. Hundreds have entered, but only one can go home with the autographed Maurkice Pouncey football.
The most common selection for Week 14 was the Seattle Seahawks over the New York Jets. After the Jets opened the game with a field goal, the Seahawks scored 40 straight points as quarterback Russell Wilson was pulled out of the game in the third quarter the game was so out of hand. With the win, 12 contestants moved on to Week 15.
There were only four different games chosen this week with all but one of them being correct. The other correct choice was the Arizona Cardinals with the incorrect choice of Carolina eliminating one contestant.
For Week 15, all contestants will be making TWO selections. Those who have both selections correct will move on to Week 16. Should no one make two correct selections, those who made one correct pick will still be in the contest.
So after fourteen weeks, only 5.1% of entries still remain. Congratulations to the 18 contestants still remaining, but 17 of you will still have to be eliminated. If you are still alive, make sure you enter your pick early so you don’t get knocked out due to a lack of selection. This is your reminder, so go make your pick now!
Upcoming Week 15 Games of Note:
- Most heavily favored: L.A. Rams (-17) over New York Jets
- Closest match up: Miami (-2.5) over New England
- The Steelers match up: Pittsburgh (-12.5) at Cincinnati
- Byes: None

So there you have it! Make sure you check back at Behind The Steel Curtain to stay updated on the contest. Even if you did not enter or have already been eliminated, feel free to check in and see how you would have fared each week.
