The Pittsburgh Steelers have released their inactives for their Week 15 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. There were two players ruled out due to injury prior to the game, so because the their was one player elevated from the practice squad the list is made up of 6 players with two being due to injury and four as healthy scratches.

The Steelers are once again going to be without running back James Conner who will miss his third game in four weeks. After missing Weeks 12 and 13 due to COVID-19, it will be Conner’s first scratch in 2020 due to injury as he is unable to play with an injured quadricep. Without Conner, the Steelers will go with the three running backs of Benny Snell Jr., Jaylen Samuels, and Anthony McFarland Jr..
The other player ruled out previously due to injury is guard Kevin Dotson. The Steelers were hoping Dotson could be the player filling in for injured guard Matt Feiler, but Dotson’s shoulder will keep him out of this week’s matchup. Exactly who will start at left guard for the Steelers this week has not been officially announced. The Steelers did activate Danny Isidora from the exempt list who will dress for tonight‘s game.
For the 14th straight game, third string quarterback Joshua Dobbs is once again inactive. The Steelers not having to go to the third option at the position in 2020 has been a nice change of pace after the 2019 season.
Two other players on the Steelers inactive list are defensive linemen Isaiah Buggs and safety Antoine Brooks Jr. The Steelers have been dressing an extra player than they typically on the defensive line do as they are carrying seven players. Going back-and-forth between Buggs and Carlos Davis as to who was inactive each week the previous two games, for Week 15 it is Buggs yet again. As for Brooks, he was active in Week 14 as Joe Haden missed the game due to a concussion but did not see the field. Brooks has appeared in three games for the Steelers and played 28 defensive snaps in their previous matchup against Cincinnati. But with the Steelers entire secondary healthy, Brooks is the odd man out.
The final player on the inactive list is newly acquired outside linebacker Cassius Marsh. Marsh was just promoted to the Steelers active roster from the exempt list on Monday.
As for the Bengals’ inactives, they can be seen below. Former Steelers’ C/G B.J. Finney and K Randy Bullock are both inactive as is quarterback Brandon Allen and linebacker Logan Wilson.
