The Pittsburgh Steelers are a group which is suffering some key injuries at key positions. The main positions which are banged up would be at left guard and the inside linebacker spots. After the team’s 27-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football in Week 15, the injuries continue to pile up across the board.
After the game, head coach Mike Tomlin recapped some injuries which happened during the game. This per Teresa Varley of Steelers.com:

Derek Watt - concussion - didn't return
Eric Ebron - back - didn't return
Marcus Allen - stinger - was able to return
The injuries which were sustained during the game were Derek Watt, who left with a concussion and did not return, Eric Ebron, who suffered a back injury and did not return and Marcus Allen, who had a stinger but was able to get back out on the field and play.
Good news came in the form of a tweet by Derek Watt saying he is doing well, and not seriously injured.
Just wanted to send a quick message to say thank you to everyone for the well wishes and let you know that I’m going to be ok.

Between Ebron and Allen, if the Steelers are going to be without those players moving forward, they will have to find players to step up and fill in at their vacant positions. At the inside linebacker position, if they could get Vince Williams back off the COVID-19/Reserve List it would be a welcome addition to the defense. As for tight end, the Steelers would have to consider promoting someone from their practice squad to play alongside Vance McDonald in Ebron’s absence.
Some players who missed the game this week who could return, and be a huge help, would be someone like rookie guard Kevin Dotson, who missed the game with a shoulder injury, and running back James Conner, who missed with a quadriceps injury.
The Steelers have their issues, there is no doubt about that, and injuries are just one area where the team is suffering. Nonetheless, if they can get some key players back it certainly will help them in their attempt to right the ship with two regular season games left before the postseason.
