The twelfth week of NFL football is behind us, and it was quite the week in the AFC North division. With that said, it is time to see how the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns all did in the week that was.
Time to take a look...
Cleveland Browns - 27
Jacksonville Jaguars - 25
Without the Steelers playing I watched a good bit of this game, and it was every bit as close and competitive as the score indicates. The recipe for success for the Browns starts and ends with the running game. If you can slow down Chubb and Hunt, which Jacksonville couldn’t do, you will win. The Browns have some tough games coming up, but you can’t knock their 8-3 record at this point in the season.
New York Giants - 19
Cincinnati Bengals - 17
Was there a more unwatchable game on the schedule in Week 12 than this one? I don’t think so. The Bengals are just not even close to complete without Joe Burrow in the lineup, and it looks as if they are content with two wins and a tie heading into the 2021 NFL Draft.
Pittsburgh Steelers - 19
Baltimore Ravens - 14
This game was a clear-cut reason why the NFL should never consider Wednesday Night Football as a “thing”. I can’t stand Thursday Night Football for the fact the games are usually without many players, and is very sloppy. The Steelers vs. Ravens game had all of that, and it wasn’t a good product. Nonetheless, the Steelers sweep the Ravens for the first time since 2017, and it looks as if the streak of no team winning the AFC North three straight years will remain in tact as the Ravens would need a lot of help to achieve that feat.
