The Pittsburgh Steelers are are on a historic streak where they have reached eleven wins and no losses. With a quick turn around to face Washington on Monday night, the Steelers have the chance to clinch a playoff birth with a victory. Most importantly, the Steelers need to keep their winning streak going in order to maintain the number one seed in the AFC.

Can the Steelers keep their franchise record streak going of consecutive wins to start a season? Will they be able to slow down Washington, who is looking to have three straight victories for the first time since October of 2018? Can they lock up their 2020 playoff spot before the final quarter of the season?

When it comes to the betting lines for Monday’s game, the following information is the current consensus spread and over/under for the Steelers this week as reported by oddsshark.com.

The opening line on the game was at -10 when the schedule was released in May. This line stayed pretty constant up through the Steelers Week 12 game. With Washington coming off an extended break and the Steelers operating on a short week, the line has come down slightly.

Being favored on Sunday, the Steelers have a current moneyline on sportsbettingdime.com of -400 to win the game straight up, which is the equivalent of 1/4 odds. So a $20 bet placed on the Steelers over Washington would have a payout of $25 ($5 plus the original $20 bet). Washington has a current moneyline of +315, or 63/20 odds. Therefore the same $20 bet placed on Washington to win straight up would have a payout of $83 ($63 plus the original $20 bet) .

According to Oddsshark.com, the Steelers are 7-2 against the spread in their last 9 games and are 1-4 against the spread the last 5 games in December. The Steelers also have gone UNDER in 5 of their last 6 games against Washington and have gone UNDER in 5 of their lat 6 games against the NFC.

If looking at the futures bets, the Steelers odds to win the Super Bowl vary from 5/1 to 6/1 and only the Kansas City Chiefs have better odds. The Steelers odds to win the AFC Championship are 13/5 odds. As for winning the AFC North, the Steelers are currently at 1/50 odds and are ahead of the Browns at 150/1 odds.
