The Pittsburgh Steelers have apparently suffered another loss on defense as Robert Spillane has left Monday night’s contest against the Washington Football Team with an apparent knee injury. Per Burt Lauten of the Steelers PR Department, Spillane is questionable to return:
#Steelers LB Robert Spillane has been taken to the locker room for further evaluation for a knee injury. His return to tonight’s game is questionable.

Playing limited snaps the Steelers first four contests of 2020, Spillane came on with the injury to Devin Bush in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns. Since that game, Spillane has logged at least 75% of the defensive snaps for the Steelers.
Since coming on in Week 6, Spillane had 52 tackles, a sack, a fumble recovery, and an interception return for a touchdown coming into Week 13. Spilane also had a sack in the first quarter against Washington.
With Spillane questionable to return, Avery Williamson, who the Steelers acquired from the New York Jets just before the NFL trade deadline, looks to have an even bigger role in the Steelers defense.
