The offseason cloud has officially covered the entire National Football League, and outside of rumors and report, news is scarce until the new league year begins in March.
The same can be said about news regarding the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Fans are awaiting the 21st of February to hear of Ben Roethlisberger’s elbow rehabilitation, and are debating the pros and cons of a particular wide receivers coach who could be hired any day now.
Yes, the offseason is here, and nothing says this quite like Ben Roethlisberger taking in a West Virginia University basketball game with teammate Ryan Switzer and it wasn’t him sitting court side which was the news, it was Roethlisberger’s raging beard which stole the show.

A cool moment for the WVU crowd, and Steelers fans were excited to see Roethlisberger in public for the first time since the season ended in Baltimore in Week 17. What fans are most excited for is the report on Roethlisberger’s throwing arm. As you can see from the photos above, he no longer has a brace or any apparatus on his arm, but the big news is still upcoming.
