The complete XFL schedule for Week 1 this weekend

All four XFL games are available on national television Saturday and Sunday

The NFL season has come to a close with the Kansas City Chiefs defeating the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV. But a mere six days later, football continues for those interested in seeing more players who are hoping to find their way in the NFL. The XFL kicks off at 2 PM this Saturday with a slate of four games on Saturday and Sunday. The season will continue for 10 weeks before a four-team playoff and a championship game on April 26th, 2020, the day following the NFL draft.

While some may look at this nearly as “second-rate” football, others may enjoy something to help get through the long NFL off-season. There are several XFL players with previous ties to the Steelers who will be taking the field this weekend. If nothing else, tuning in Sunday at 5 PM just to hear Pat McAfee as an analyst could be worthwhile more than any of the on-field action.
