While it comes as no surprise for how the Steelers are conducting business since many other NFL teams have made similar statements, this was the first official release by a team representative. With the tampering period for NFL free agency currently underway, the Steelers are conducting business in regards to the 2020 season but are attempting to do so remotely when possible.
With the flurry of personnel moves around the league on Monday, it appears most teams are still conducting their business while attempting to keep nonessential staff in facilities. While we are not privy to the information of exactly who will and will not be reporting to the Steelers office, our biggest concern as fans should be the safety of all the Steelers personnel.
