When it comes to being a member of the Watt family there are certain aspects of your life you must embrace.
- A crazy work ethic
- The ability to play football at the NFL level
- And a sense of humor
If you follow both J.J. Watt and T.J. Watt on social media, you know a lot about their brotherly relationship. They support each other to no end, tweeting congratulations when a sack is made, but they also know when to poke fun at each other too.
Sadly, for Pittsburgh Steelers fans, it seems as if their favorite Watt is always on the losing end of these social media battles with Houston Texans All-Pro J.J.
When J.J. posted the following video on Twitter, T.J. just couldn’t help himself...
Trust yourself as much as I trust this green band. pic.twitter.com/Fsf7Q8GVa2

T.J.’s response:
I know you will roast me right back, but....... am I supposed to be impressed by this? https://t.co/LW7Ccb3cCX

T.J. knew it was coming, but he didn’t know just how or when.
Then it happened...
Am I supposed to be impressed by you “almost” winning defensive player of the year? https://t.co/taGB1rT6z3

Boom.
Roasted.
Just like that, T.J. was put in his place and sent packing. And he knew it...
I’ll be at the gym if anyone needs me... https://t.co/6wB9VnJI3h

It’s the offseason, and there certainly is a dead period along the NFL news cycle, but these are the stories which still make people laugh. To break up the monotony of Collective Bargaining Agreement talk and numbers being spewed from the NFL Scouting Combine.
Mike Tomlin famously said after the team drafted T.J. Watt that “every team should have a Watt.” And while their play on the field is downright impressive, their sense of humor and “brotherly love” off the field is absolutely hilarious.
