I know what you are thinking...

The Pittsburgh Steelers don’t have a first round draft pick.

You are right, they don’t. But they do have Minkah Fitzpatrick, the safety they acquired for the 18th overall pick from the Miami Dolphins prior to Week 3 of the 2019 regular season. What he did after that was nothing short of remarkable.

Fitzpatrick transformed the Steelers’ defense into an elite unit, and earned himself All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors along the way. So, while the Steelers won’t get an unknown commodity Thursday nigth in the 2020 NFL Draft, they will have the services of one of the elite safeties the game has seen in the past few seasons for the foreseeable future in black-and-gold.

If you are like me, you’ll take that trade off every day of the week, and twice on Sunday.

In the meantime, let’s enjoy some Minkah Magic from last season...check out the highlights below and enjoy the Steelers’ top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft!
