Entering the 2020 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers had a number of draft needs which they needed to address. With no first round selection in the draft, running back, safety and even pass rusher were still positions of need to help the black-and-gold get to the next level in 2020. There have been numerous thoughts and debates regarding what the team will do on Day 3 of the NFL Draft.
When the dust settled, the Steelers have selected Louisiana guard Kevin Dotson, with their second pick of the draft in the fourth round.

For those who may not know much about Dotson as a player, this is his overall breakdown of his game, per his NFL Draft Profile:
Backup-caliber guard with the football intelligence, technique and run-blocking ability for eventual starter consideration in the right circumstance. Dotson is a powerful man with experience blocking in zone, gap and power schemes. He’s a little stiff-kneed with sluggish change of direction so slanting fronts and athletic pass rushers could create inconsistencies in his performance. What he can do well outweighs the concerns and he could hear his name called on Day 3.
The Pittsburgh Steelers’ draft needs in the remaining rounds of the draft now would be considered: offensive tackle, inside linebacker and safety among other positions.
