The Pittsburgh Steelers 2020 success will hinge largely on the health of Ben Roethlisberger’s throwing elbow. After a season-ending arm elbow injury in Week 2 of the 2019 regular season, Roethlisberger declared he won’t be shaving until he can throw again.

On February 21st, the Steelers released a video of Roethlisberger in California rehabbing his elbow and throwing a pass.

Needless to say, the fan base was ecstatic! But he still had the beard, and fans wondered when the beard would be gone.

The time is now! Roethlisberger released this video for fans...declaring himself ready.

As you can see in the video, Roethlisberger has been throwing to JuJu Smith-Schuster, James Conner and Ryan Switzer. And as he stated, he wouldn’t shave until he could throw a real NFL pass to his teammates.

This is yet another huge step in the process for No. 7, and one which should have the fan base even more excited than after the February video released.

As Smith-Schuster said in the video, “He’s baaaaack!”

Stay tuned to BTSC for the latest news and notes surrounding the Steelers as they prepare for the 2020 regular season.
