The schedule for the 2020 NFL training camps across the NFL was sent to players earlier on Saturday. This schedule will be followed by 30 of the 32 NFL teams as the Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs begin their training camp a few days earlier.

According to the schedule sent by the NFLPA, the first padded practice will be on Monday, August 17, 2020. The first few days of training camp this coming week will consist of COVID-19 testing and virtual meetings. Players will then begin their ramp-up period of conditioning and small group activities.
The NFL iis still set to kick off their season on Thursday, September 10, 2020 with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Houston Texans. The NFL will continue with its slate of 13 games on Saturday, September 13, 2020 followed by two Monday night games on September 14. The Steelers are set to face the New York Giants at the Meadowlands in the earlier of the two Monday night games.
