Steelers running back James Conner is questionable to return to the Steelers Week 1 game against the New York Giants.
James Conner has an ankle injury and is questionable to return. That explains Benny Snell being the bell cow of the game in the second half.

Conner struggled to get going for the Steelers early on with only 6 rushing attempts for 9 yards. Conner also added two receptions for 8 yards all of which occurred in the first half.
Conner has dealt with a series of injuries throughout his short career and has yet to play all 16 games over his first three seasons. Additionally, Conner struggles to complete games in which he plays, much like the Steelers first matchup of 2020.
Through the first 3 and a half quarters, Benny Snell Jr. has rushed quite effectively for the Steelers with over 100 yards rushing as the Steelers look to closeout the game. Snell did have one fumble but was bailed out on the recovery by JuJu Smith-Schuster.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin will look to address the Conner injury in his post game interview.
