The second week of NFL football is behind us, and it was quite the week in the AFC North division. With that said, it is time to see how the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns all did in the week that was.
Time to take a look...
This AFC North matchup took place on Thursday Night Football, and the Browns looked dominant early, but Joe Burrow and the Bengals showed plenty of fight in this contest. When the dust settled the Browns were just too much for the young Cincinnati team, but there was a point in the game where you wondered if anyone really wanted to win the football game...
It wasn’t pretty, but as Mike Tomlin always says, “style points don’t matter”. The Steelers’ defense was making life miserable for the Broncos’ quarterbacks, and the offense made enough plays to stay a perfect 2-0 in the 2020 regular season. Win and correct as the Steelers prepare for Week 3.
The Ravens’ offense got off to a slow start, but it was only a matter of time until Lamar Jackson and company got warmed up, and when they did they were lights out. The Ravens’ defense doesn’t get nearly enough credit for the job they do as well, keeping Deshaun Watson and company in check. Holding the Texans to 16 points is a job well done, and the Ravens look as tough as advertised.
