After the Titans had three players and five personnel test positive for COVID-19 upon returning from their Week 3 game in Minnesota vs. the Vikings, the team has discovered another positive test from Tuesday’s round of testing.
This per Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network:
One more #Titans player learned early this morning he tested positive in Tuesday’s round of COVID-19 testing, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. All of Tuesday’s other tests in Tennessee -- and all tests for the #Vikings -- came back negative this morning.— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) September 30, 2020
Testing will continue throughout the week, and there could be more players who test positive as the week progresses, but as of now it just seems to be the one player who will be added to the COVID/Reserve List in the coming days.
There was some good news, and that was the fact all other Titans who were tested came back negative. On top of that, all Vikings players and personnel who were tested came back negative.
The NFL will be keeping a close eye on the situation, and will certainly be making an educated and informed decision on whether the game scheduled for Sunday will be played on time, or delayed in some way.
