NFL Odds and Predictions: Picking all the Week 17 games against the spread

The 2020 NFL regular season is coming to a close, and the Pittsburgh Steelers have qualified for the postseason for the first time since 2017. Resting players in Cleveland on Sunday, it’s the outcome of several other games which will play as much into the Steelers matchup on Wild Card Weekend. But first, we have a slate of 16 games to pick!

For the 2020 NFL season, six of the BTSC staff (a group I have affectionately named the “BTSC Super Six”) have signed up to pick every game against the spread and the over/under point totals. We are doing things a little different this year and including the Thursday games. Please remember we are not experts on betting or any kind of sports gamblers. We are just a group of Steelers’ fans saying who we think will come through each week.

We are using a new program called Tallysight this season. It will allow us to show picks in a much more “friendly to the eye” manner. To understand how it works, the default tab is for our picks against the spread. To see the over/under picks, click the “O/U” tab in the upper right.

Last week, when picking games against the spread, Michael blew everyone out of the water going 11-5 as Jeff was the next closest at 8-8. Bryan continues to hold the top spot overall at 121-119 and extended his lead over Geoffrey by a couple of games.

When it comes to picking the over/under, Geoffrey led the way at 9-7 this week with Michael coming in close behind at 8-8. Michael continues to hold the top spot overall at 127-113. When combining both sets of pick, Michael jumped into the top spot at 243-37 combined. Geoffrey is lurking 2 games behind with Bryan needing to make up 4 games.
