Friday Night Steelers Six Pack of questions and open thread: Offseason Vol. 3

There is always something to talk about when it comes to the black-and-gold!

It’s Friday again, so it’s time for the six pack of questions. It seems as if Jeff and Dave come to a consensus in cutting to the chase...

This week, I, Dave, will be tasked with the questions up for discussion.

The rules are still the same...

Quick rundown of the ground rules.

  • I’ll ask at least four questions strictly related to the Steelers.
  • The rest of the questions could be about anything.
  • Be respectful.
  • Have fun talking about the Black-and-gold.

Procedural Note: Since the title feature has gone away, please feel free to leave your usual title as the first line of your response and even bold it if you can for the ease of others.

So here we go! With the formalities out of the way, it’s time to jump on in. Hopefully this party is exactly what you’re looking for on a Friday night. Here goes:

1. This is a question we will revisit quite often, but based on the Pittsburgh Steelers current players under contract for 2021 what position (not player) do you see as the top priority in the 2021 NFL draft?

2. Ben Roethlisberger stated this week he was not interested in money but just wanted to win for the 2021 season. Due $19 million in bonuses and salary in 2021 under his current contract, do you see Ben actually being paid less money for 2021 or simply being willing to move things down the road to help the cap situation without sacrificing pay?

3. The Senior Bowl is this Saturday at 2:30 PM on NFL Network. Are you going to tune in to see NFL prospects in action or just wait for someone else to break down their play?

4. It was reported several NFL players said the Steelers offense was the easiest to prepare for in the league this season. What do you think was the bigger factor in this: Players or scheme?

5. Last year the Steelers gave RFA tenders to Mike Hilton and Matt Feiler. This year, the Restricted Free Agents are Ola Adeniyi and Ray-Ray McCloud. Are you offering either of them the lowest tender which would cost at least $2.2 million?

6. I received another Christmas card yesterday. Even though I did all my holiday shopping extremely early, there were still some things that did not arrive before December 25. Is anybody out there still waiting on something they have ordered which is running behind? What was the longest delivery wait time you’ve experienced?

Stay safe out there!

And it wouldn’t be a Friday night unless we said...
