It’s no mystery Steelers fans have dreamt of adding former three time defensive player of the year, J.J. Watt to the roster. The pipe dream started to gain traction once Derek Watt teamed up with T.J. Watt here in the Steel City. These feeling began to intensify once former Texans Head Coach, and General Manager, Bill O’Brien began running the team into the ground. Now that franchise quarterback, Deshaun Watson, is demanding a trade out of Houston, coupled with the fact the Texans are on the precipice of some dreadful years ahead, the belief is J.J. Watt will be given the opportunity to finish his career elsewhere.

Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network broke the news of J.J.’s impending departure. Garafolo even went as far to say that Texans players already new the eldest Watt brother had played his final game as a Texan. Surprising to nobody, Steelers fans, and even players, took to social media to show their excitement of Watt’s availability adding on to J.J.’s clear interest of playing with his brothers you could call the reaction a down right frenzy.

Almost immediately after the news broke, Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt took to Twitter to remind people just how dominant his big brother has been.

A tweet in which Steelers tackle, Zach Banner responded with a gif how he feels about the situation:

Here are some of the more entertaining tweets from Steelers nation:

The only way this ongoing saga will end is whenever J.J. Watt officially becomes a member of another team, any team. It may even end up being the Steelers. Until that time comes, you can rest assured there will be a Steelers fan screaming his name form the mountain tops. You can rest assured that we will bring you the latest news for this Steelers pipe dream as well as all things Pittsburgh Steelers.
