The 6-1 Packers take a break from the snow and head to the desert to take on the 7-0 Cardinals in a matchup that will crown one the top team in the NFC. At least until Sunday when the 6-1 Buccaneers play in the Big Easy and the 6-1 Rams go to the Houston Texans. There’s a chance Sunday ends with 4 NFC teams at 7-1.
The Cardinals have quite a few players shown as questionable, with J.J. Watt and DeAndre Hopkins leading that list. The Packers list is much smaller and to my eyes doesn’t boast the firepower of the Cardinals.
The stats for both teams are pretty close except, points per game, 24.0 for Green Bay and 32.3 for Arizona, and yards per game 331.4 and 403.0 respectively. Neither team has had a really difficult schedule so far, though the Cardinals beating both the Rams and Titans gives them the edge in quality wins, as they say in NCAA BB.
I see the Cardinals talking this one, but on any given Sunday (Thursday).
