The Pittsburgh Steelers are continuing their preparation for the Cleveland Browns this Sunday. In the second injury report of the week courtesy of the Steelers PR department, one new player was added to the injury report as two players were listed as limited.

The new player added to the list on Thursday was tight end Eric Ebron who showed up with a hamstring injury. Being listed as limited, it is unclear if Ebron was just taking things easy or if he suffered the injury during practice and was unable to continue. Ultimately, Ebron‘s availability on Friday will show if this was more precautionary or if he is in danger of missing Week 8.

While some were unsure what to expect, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger practiced for the first time on a Wednesday in 2021. As expected, Roethlisberger was still listed as having a pectoral/hip injury. On Thursday, Roethlisberger returned as a full participant.

After being limited two of the three days leading up to the Steelers last game, Chase Claypool played in Week 6 despite his hamstring injury. Perhaps not wanting to push the envelope too much, Claypool was listed as limited in practice on Wednesday. On Thursday, Claypool was back to a full participant and should be all clear for Sunday’s game.

Hating to see yet another groin injury, Melvin Ingram was listed as being limited on Wednesday. Despite there being rumors of Ingram desiring a trade prior to the deadline next week, on Thursday he was limited once again in practice and Friday will factor heavily in determining his game status.

Two players listed on the injury report as full participants with knee injuries were Anthony McFarland and Zach Banner. With both players recently coming off of the Reserve/Injured List, neither has played in a regular-season game in 2021. Practicing fully for the second-straight game, both players hope to make their debut this Sunday.
