The Pittsburgh Steelers are finishing up their preparation for the Cleveland Browns this Sunday. In the final injury report of the week courtesy of the Steelers PR department, one player have been ruled out for Sunday while another is doubtful.

A new player added to the list on Thursday was tight end Eric Ebron who showed up with a hamstring injury. Being listed as limited on Thursday, Ebron did not practice on Friday and has been ruled out for Sunday’s game.

Hating to see yet another groin injury, Melvin Ingram was listed as being limited on Wednesday and Thursday. Despite there being rumors of Ingram desiring a trade prior to the deadline next week, on Friday he was unable to practice and is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game.

While some were unsure what to expect, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger practiced for the first time on a Wednesday in 2021. As expected, Roethlisberger was still listed as having a pectoral/hip injury. On both Thursday and Friday, Roethlisberger returned as a full participant and carries no injury status.

After being limited two of the three days leading up to the Steelers last game, Chase Claypool played in Week 6 despite his hamstring injury. Perhaps not wanting to push the envelope too much, Claypool was listed as limited in practice on Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday, Claypool was back to a full participant and is all clear for Sunday’s game.

Two players listed on the injury report as full participants with knee injuries were Anthony McFarland and Zach Banner. With both players recently coming off of the Reserve/Injured List, neither has played in a regular-season game in 2021. Practicing fully all week, both players are looking to make their debut this Sunday as neither carry an injury status.
