Patriots vs. Buccaneers, Week 4 Sunday Night Football: Open thread, news and updates

If anyone can figure out a way to frustrate Brady*, it’s Bill*. The question is do they have the players to pull it off.

Week 4 of the 2021 NFL regular season is almost to a close, with the only thing left are two prime time games. Sunday Night Football, and the finale being Monday Night Football. Sunday Night Football has the makings of a good game, and one which fans have heard enough about the entire week.

Yes, it’s Brady vs. Belichick.

Buccaneers @ Patriots*

Bucs (2-1) — Defeated the Cowboys and Falcons and lost to the Rams.

Pats* (1-2) — Defeated the Jets, losing to the Dolphins and Saints.

The Buccaneers are missing some key players tonight. CB Jamel Dean, RB Giovanni Bernard are out, TE Rob Gronkowski didn’t make the trip. DL JPP originally listed as out is questionable and it doesn’t sound like he’ll play. Richard Sherman is going to be active, but as a break glass type of emergency use CB.

The Patriots* put RB James White on IR and have a large list of questionable players, but appear to be the healthier club.

Should be interesting, but to be honest I have no idea who to root for in this one. Join your fellow Pittsburgh Steelers fans below in the comment section to enjoy the game together.
