The Pittsburgh Steelers are fighting to save their season after dropping three-straight games after their big upset win in Week 1. Looking for their first home victory, the Steelers will get their third opportunity this Sunday as they host the Denver Broncos. Coming off their first loss of the season, Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is in the concussion protocol with his status unknown for Sunday’s game.

When it comes to the betting lines for Sunday’s game, the following information is the current consensus spread and over/under for the Steelers this week as reported by

Game Info: Week 5

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Denver Broncos

Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM

Betting line: -1

Over/under: 40.5

Last Regular Season Meeting: Steelers (W) 26-21 vs Denver

Win streak: 1 game PIT

Last 3 Meetings: PIT 1 - 2 DEN

Last 10 Meetings: PIT 4 - 6 DEN

The opening line on the game was at -4.5 after the schedule was announced in May. This line moved to +1.5 before Week 4 when Denver was undefeated and settled in at -1 on Monday with the unknown with the Broncos quarterback situation.

Being the slight favorite on Sunday, the Steelers have a current moneyline of -125 to win the game straight up, which is the equivalent of 4/5 odds. So a $20 bet placed on the Steelers over the Broncos would have a payout of $36 ($16 plus the original $20 bet). The Broncos have a current moneyline of +105, or 21/22 odds. Therefore the same $20 bet placed on Denver to win straight up would have a payout of $41 ($21 plus the original $20 bet) .

According to, the Steelers are 1-4 against the spread in their last 5 games and are 1-5 straight up in their last 6 games at home. The Steelers also have gone UNDER in 4 of their last 5 games and have gone OVER in 10 of their last 14 games against Denver.

If looking at the futures bets, the Steelers odds to win the Super Bowl are 125/1 after being at 80/1 after Week 3. The Steelers odds to win the AFC Championship are now 60/1 odds. As for winning the AFC North, the Steelers are currently at 25/1 odds and are behind the Ravens at 21/20 odds, the Browns at 11/10 odds, and the Bengals with 17/2 odds.
