Friday Night Steelers Six Pack of questions and open thread: Offseason Vol. 4

There is always something to talk about when it comes to the black-and-gold!

NFL: AFC Wild Card Round-Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

It’s Friday again, so it’s time for the six pack of questions. It seems as if Jeff and Dave come to a consensus in cutting to the chase...

This week, I, Jeff, will be tasked with the questions up for discussion.

The rules are still the same...

Quick rundown of the ground rules.

  • I’ll ask at least four questions strictly related to the Steelers.
  • The rest of the questions could be about anything.
  • Be respectful.
  • Have fun talking about the Black-and-gold.

Procedural Note: Since the title feature has gone away, please feel free to leave your usual title as the first line of your response and even bold it if you can for the ease of others.

So here we go! With the formalities out of the way, it’s time to jump on in. Hopefully this party is exactly what you’re looking for on a Friday night. Here goes:

1. Right off the top, who are you ROOTING for in Super Bowl 55? Not necessarily who you think will win, but who do you want to see win?

2. Here is a fun one, if they were both the same age, and early in their careers, who would you rather have as the Steelers’ QB? Patrick Mahomes or Tom Brady?

3. The NFL Scouting Combine won’t be happening this season. Instead of the big event they will be focusing mainly on pro day workouts, etc. Do you think this helps prospects, hurts them or doesn’t matter at all?

4. Ben Roethlisberger’s career might be on its last legs, and I think it is important we appreciate what he has done for the organization. What is your favorite NON-SUPER BOWL/NON-PLAYOFF memory of Roethlisberger?

5. If you were holding a Super Bowl party, or if you went to one in the past, what is your biggest pet peeve when viewing football games with others? (Example: The “I just watch the Super Bowl for the commercials” fan.)

6. Which winter NFL offseason sport are you most likely to watch?

Basketball (NBA or NCAA)
Hockey (NHL)
Golf (PGA)

Stay safe out there!

And it wouldn’t be a Friday night unless we said...
