Bengals’ new uniforms get leaked on eBay, and they are still ugly

One of the AFC north teams is getting new uniforms in 2020, and that would be the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals’ uniforms have long been considered one of the worst in the NFL, mainly due to the panther striped helmets. NFL teams like to keep their new jerseys on the down low until closer to the NFL Draft, but these uniforms were leaked in the most Bengals way ever.

On eBay.

Sunday images of the new jerseys were all over social media, but were they real?

Come to find out, they are legit, and they don’t look a lot better than what fans got to see in 2020 and prior.

It should be noted the Bengals made it clear when they announced the new jerseys that they were not changing anything about the helmet design. I guess, they actually like the way their helmets look.

Nonetheless, the Bengals’ new jerseys might look better on the actual players compared to just hanging on a hanger, but at first glance they are just as ugly as they’ve always been. Come to think of it, there haven’t been many Bengals jerseys which were considered good looking.

Maybe these, which were worn by Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson in the early 2000s?

No. Those are ugly too.

Fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers should be happy their team’s uniforms have been relatively unchanged for decades. When the biggest uniform complaint is the italicized numbers, I’d say you are doing something right.

What do you think of the Bengals’ leaked uniforms? An upgrade? Or do they look like a lot like the Chicago Bears’ alternate uniforms?
