The Pittsburgh Steelers are in the process of signing their nine draft picks of the 2021 NFL Draft class, and while they signed four picks about a week ago, they were able to get two more picks under contract Tuesday.

The two players signed were both 4th round draft picks, and both Texas A&M players, ILB Buddy Johnson and OT Dan Moore Jr.

As reported earlier, the salary cap number and signing bonus for all the Steelers draft picks have been estimated by overthecap.com.

So, many might wonder how much these players will cost towards the Steelers’ 2021 salary cap. Those amounts for the two players the Steelers just signed are as follows:

Dan Moore Jr

2021 salary cap number: $834,476
Calculated signing bonus: $697,904

Buddy Johnson

2021 salary cap number: $784,836
Calculated signing bonus: $499,344

With Johnson and Moore signed, it leaves only the following players remaining unsigned from the 2021 draft class:

Round 1: RB Najee Harris
Round 2: TE Pat Friermuth
Round 3: G/C Kendrick Green

The Steelers now turn their attention to the rest of Organized Team Activities (OTAs), mandatory mini camp, training camp and eventually the 2021 regular season. Be sure to stay tuned to BTSC for the latest news and notes surrounding the Steelers.
