Grading the Steelers 2021 draft picks

Now the Steelers had a pretty interesting draft (in my opinion) and today I will be going over all the Steelers draft picks and Grading them.

Round 1 Pick 24 : Najee Harris RB

I like the pick here by the Steelers picking up the best running back in the draft class to fill the huge hole they currently have at that position. Now if any of you have read my mock draft you know that I wanted Javonte Williams but it turns out the Steelers would not have gotten him anyway so I like this pick.

Grade : A

Round 2 Pick 55 : Pat Freiermuth TE

I did not see this one coming, while the Steelers do need a tight end I thought that they would address the position later in the draft, but Freiermuth is a beast and could be the next Gronk, lets hope he is.

Grade : B+

Round 3 Pick 87 : Kendrick Green C

I did not think that this was a good pick at first but after looking into Green a little more I've realized that he is actually a pretty good pick for the 3 round and that he will help the Steelers offensive line tremendously.

Grade : B+

Round 4 Pick 128 : Dan Moore JR. OT

This was an interesting pick by the Steelers that I did not like as much as there other moves. Moore has some talent that's for sure and he could be pretty good but I think that I would have liked somebody else here instead.

Grade : C+

Round 4 Pick 140 : Buddy Johnsen LB

I'm not really sure about this one Johnsen is definitely not bad and he could be good in a few years but I think were pretty good on the line backer core as it is.

Grade : C+

Round 5 Pick 156 : Isaiahh Loudermilk DL

I was shocked at this pick seeing as Loudermilk might not even play this season and there where still people like Shaun Wade on the board, but the Steelers clearly saw something in Loudermilk and lets hope it was something good.

Grade C

Round 6 Pick 216 : Quincy Roche EDGE

I was surprised Roche fell this far but I think it was a pretty good pick by the Steelers and I'm exited to see what he can do.

Grade : B

Round 7 Pick 245 : Tre Norwood S

I don't really think Norwood will be playing a lot this season so I don't really know what to give this but it was an ok pick.

Grade : C+

Round 7 Pick 254 : Pressley Harvin P

Harvin is like the size of a line backer and he was like the best punter in the 2021 draft class. I think Jordan Berry should worried about his job with Harvin there in Pittsburgh.

Grade : B

I think the Steelers had a pretty good draft in all, let me know if you agree.
