The Pittsburgh Steelers, and their global fan base, have fallen head over heels for Najee Harris. The young running back from Alabama has not only been impressive throughout offseason workouts, his infectious positive attitude and work ethic has also made a lasting impact.
There might be a few new fans after Harris attended the Pittsburgh Pirates and Miami Marlins game at PNC Park Saturday afternoon. It was Harris who threw out the ceremonial first pitch to the Pirate Parrot.

Pictures are great, but how was the delivery? Did Harris pump a fastball down the middle? Did he completely miss the mark? Was he one of the many celebrities and athletes who look as if they’ve never thrown a baseball in their lives?
Not at all...check out the video below:

Harris lobbed a strike over the plate, looking as if he had plenty left in the tank if he very well wanted. He most likely didn’t want to throw a fastball to a mascot who might not have been able to even see the ball coming very well.
Nonetheless, Harris represented himself, and the Steelers, well, and the Pirates came from behind and won the game in 12 innings after a walk-off single by catcher Jacob Stallings. Najee Harris is being indoctrinated into Pittsburgh culture, and the Steelers faithful are counting the days until they see Harris not throwing baseballs, but toting footballs.
