After reporting to the facility yesterday, the Pittsburgh Steelers are scheduled to hit the field at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex for 2021 training camp on Thursday.
Exactly what will be going on in the first week of training camp for the players has not been reported at this time. One thing we know for sure is the first padded practice at Heinz Field where fans can be in attendance is scheduled for next Wednesday, July 28. Until that time, we will be compiling as much information as to what is going on with the Steelers at practice as we possibly can.
Check out the information below as the players hit the field to begin their preparation for the 2021 season. If any additional information or reports become available, they will be updated below.

Probably been tweeted but Melvin Ingram is No. 8. Not his college number but still very cool for a pass-rusher.— James C Wexell (@jimwexell) July 22, 2021

Steelers aren’t starting out with anyone on the PUP list, though a few guys didn’t participate - including LG Kevin Dotson, who Mike Tomlin said “tweaked” something but should be fine in a few days. #Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger tongue-in-cheek when asked about all the off-season punditry involving his ability and physique and etc: “Are things being said about me nationally?”— Aditi Kinkhabwala (@AKinkhabwala) July 22, 2021
And then, w/ a smile: “What’s new?”
Asked #Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger about the process of learning all new formations, verbiage and play calls 18 years in and he says… his daughter helped him make flash cards! “There have been some quizzes,” he says w/ a smile.— Aditi Kinkhabwala (@AKinkhabwala) July 22, 2021
