An inside look at the Steelers first padded training camp practice

The Pittsburgh Steelers put on the pads in front of fans Wednesday, and there was plenty to see from the events which took place.

NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers moved their camp practices to Heinz Field on Tuesday, but Wednesday was the big day. It was not just the first day fans attended camp practices, but also the first padded practice for the black and gold.

Unlike previous training camp practices where media are restricted on what they report, with fans there with phones to record, you can get a good glimpse of what the Steelers were up to thanks to some fans who took, and shared, video from the day that was.

Below are some great videos from the Steelers’ first day of padded practices. Mind you this is just a fan taking video from their seat at Heinz Field. These videos came from Twitter use “Steelers World-Wide”, you can follow this person HERE, and they provide those who can’t attend training camp practices with an inside look at what took place Wednesday.

As a side note, if any readers attend practice and take some good video, feel free to send them our way and we would gladly include them into an article. We would gladly give credit for those who help out! Simply email videos to me at, or if they are on Twitter you can send them to me by using the handle @JHartman_PIT.
