The Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t going to be back in Latrobe, PA, but that doesn’t mean fans won’t have a look at the team this preseason.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are not going to be going back to Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA for the second straight season, but that doesn’t mean the global Steelers fan base won’t be allowed to watch practice first hand.

As the Steelers will have practices at both Heinz Field and the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex, the team announced several open to the public dates where fans can go to Heinz Field and watch the team prepare for the regular season.

If you are wondering if the team would charge to attend practice, they will not be doing such a thing. Here is more information:

Admission to open practices is FREE to Steelers Nation, but attendees MUST have a mobile ticket to enter Heinz Field. A limited number of tickets will be available via Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday, July 10, and seats will be assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis.

So, with that said, will you be heading to Heinz Field for practice? It won’t be the same as Saint Vincent, but it will give fans a chance to see the team when they otherwise might not be able to see them. If you are going, here are some other aspects of the dates you might want to know.

  • The clear bag policy, like on typical game days, applies.
  • You will have an assigned seat for all training camp practices.
  • Concession stands will be open during practice for fans to enjoy.
