The Pittsburgh Steelers rumors are swirling as the team prepares to cut their roster down to the league mandated 53 players. After releasing nine players Saturday, the team has already reportedly cut ties with two players on their roster.
Those two players were linebacker Jamar Watson and long snapper Kameron Canaday. You can now make that three players who are reportedly being released Monday, and the next player to go is wide receiver Rico Bussey.
This per Brooke Pryor of ESPN:

He’ll be part of Pittsburgh’s practice squad if he clears waivers.
Bussey was somewhat of a camp phenom after making several acrobatic, and amazing, catches during open practices at Heinz Field. While the team is planning on cutting Bussey, it is reported the team wants to bring Bussey back on the 16-man practice squad if he clears waivers.
Bussey now joins the following players as the most recent cuts:
TE Marcus Baugh
RB Tony Brooks-James
CB Shakur Brown
WR Anthony Johnson
S Lamont Wade
WR Matthew Sexton
CB Lafayette Pitts
DT T.J. Carter
OG Malcolm Pridgeon
LB Jamar Watson
LS Kameron Canaday
The Steelers had practice at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on Monday and again on Tuesday prior to cuts needing to be made official, so more news and notes could be coming over the next 24 hours.
