Friday Night Steelers Six Pack of questions and open thread: Preseason Vol. 3

It’s Friday again, so it’s time for the six pack of questions. It seems as if Jeff and Dave come to a consensus in cutting to the chase...

This week, I, Dave, will be tasked with the questions up for discussion.

The rules are still the same...

Quick rundown of the ground rules.

• I’ll ask at least four questions strictly related to the Steelers.
• The rest of the questions could be about anything.
• Be respectful.
• Have fun talking about the Black-and-gold.

Procedural Note: Since the title feature has gone away, please feel free to leave your usual title as the first line of your response and even bold it if you can for the ease of others.

So here we go! With the formalities out of the way, it’s time to jump on in. Hopefully this party is exactly what you’re looking for on a Friday night. Here goes:

1. The Steelers now have one preseason game under their belts! Even though it’s a preseason game, who gets your game ball? You can give one overall or one each for offense, defense, and special teams.

2. Since very few projected starters played on Thursday night, we got more of a look at the depth pieces for the 2021 season. After the game, if there any one position group where you feel better about the depth this season based on last night’s game?

3. It’s the obvious follow up to question #2. Is there now a position group where the depth concerns you even more after the Hall of Fame Game?

4. How did you treat the Steelers’ first preseason game from a fan’s perspective? Did you do similar pre-game rituals you would with a regular-season game? Did you watch it the in the same manner? Personally, I was in my typical game-day attire, and it felt great to put it on again!

5. With the second preseason game next Thursday before we reconvene again, what is the biggest thing you want to see out of the Steelers when they face the Eagles?

6. Now that the NFL preseason has kicked off, it feels like fall is just around the corner and summer is coming to an end as some places have kids heading back to school in the next week or so. Did you take a summer vacation this year and what did it entail? Do you have one upcoming and what’s the itinerary? Did you skip out on anything of that nature this year or do you vacation during a different time of year?
