There is AFC North action on Thursday Night Football between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Cincinnati Bengals, in Ohio. Let’s take a look at these two teams:
Jaguars (0-3) Losses to the Texans, Broncos, and Cardinals.
Bengals (2-1) Beating the Vikings and Steelers, losing to the Bears.
When I originally saw this matchup I was interested in seeing what Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars would look like. Unfortunately, they seem to be purging a bunch of players, I guess to either get the top pick again next year (see the Browns), or to break Trevor Lawrence. Maybe they should have held onto Gardner Minshew for a bit longer. Turns out that question was being asked at Big Cat Country last week.
I’m completely uninterested in seeing the Bengals, for obvious reasons, but pulling off the band aide now might be better in the long run. According to Cincy Jungle the Bengals appear to be missing a few defenders, but I don’t think it will matter much.
