BREAKING: BTSC Moderator to Recommend Andrew Wilbar as the next Steelers GM

________________ andrew.0.webp _______________

During the 2020 NFL pre-draft process, one of my late-round draft crushes was Tyler Huntley. Huntley, as you are well aware by now, is a quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens and has filled in for the injured Lamar Jackson. For the most part, Huntley has played well over the past month, but that is not the jest of this article. We have a more important topic to discuss. A storyline in some ways.

As most of you know by now, when I find a late-round prospect I like, I am not silent about it, and I am persistent about the Steelers drafting them. When Tyler Huntley went undrafted just one year ago, I constantly talked about how the Steelers needed to bring him in. In fact, I mentioned it so often in my comments that Hearts and Smarts, a moderator here at BTSC, decided to make a little deal with me (probably to get me to shut up about it).

That deal was as simple as this: if Tyler Huntley ever played at least 300 snaps in the NFL, he would write a letter of recommendation to the Steelers for me to be the next GM of the team.

Well, my friends, that condition has now come to fruition. Huntley entered Week 17 with 259 NFL snaps, and he easily surpassed 300 in Sunday's 20-19 loss to the Rams.

First of all, I would like to thank Hearts and Smarts as he prepares to recommend me for my dream job. Make sure you remember to include the following accolades in the letter:

  • Correctly predicted Tyler Huntley
  • Correctly predicted Trey Smith
  • Correctly predicted Elijah Mitchell
  • Predicted Patrick Mahomes' success
  • Called Josh Rosen a bust

Secondly, I would like to recognize Hearts and Smarts as a legendary moderator. He is always friendly and informative in the comment section, and he is a man of his word. Not every person would keep their end of the bargain, but Hearts and Smarts is a high-character moderator who does what he says he will do. Both Hearts and Smarts and SNW have a big part in the site that is BTSC, and I do not take that lightly.

If you are reading this and thinking that this is a joke, you are sadly mistaken. While I hope everyone gets a little humor out of this post, I am completely serious about that letter being written. If you need the address, Hearts, I can help you find it.

Say hello to your next GM, Steelers Nation!
