The left tackle position has been one of the biggest talking points in Pittsburgh this season.
The job was an open competition in camp, which Moore won, as it was evident Jones was still raw in pass protection. Jones made his first start in Week 5 against the Baltimore Ravens when Moore was dealing with a sprained knee, and he played well, allowing only one pressure and no sacks.
However, Moore was given the starting nod after the bye week, and a week of no one knowing who would start. Fans clamored for Jones to hold onto the job, but to no avail.
When asked about the debate of Jones vs. Moore, head coach Mike Tomlin shot it down.
“I wouldn’t peel back the curtain for you if there was a debate,” Tomlin said.

Moore did play well against the Rams, allowing only one pressure and throwing multiple key blocks in the run game. It appears it will remain his job until he gives it away.
