Steelers receiver Diontae Johnson was under a lot of hot water Sunday during the Steelers’ win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

After dropping a pass in the end zone, Johnson showed a clear lack of effort on the following play, barely even walking to a block on a Jaylen Warren run, and not attempting to jump on the ball when it was fumbled.

Head coach Mike Tomlin was very frank about the situation.

“Diontae can’t let the emotions of the previous down affect his next down,” Tomlin said. “It’s something that he needs to answer for, and so I’ll give him an opportunity to do that.”

Johnson finished the day with four catches for 50 yards.
