The Steelers, and the city of Pittsburgh, have officially submitted their bid to host the NFL Draft, per Gerry Dulac.

Pittsburgh would host the draft in either 2026 or 2027.

An event of this caliber would obviously be great economically for the city, and there is certainly hope that the NFL will grant them the right to host the draft.

With cities like Detroit hosting the NFL Draft in 2024, and Green Bay hosting in 2025, Pittsburgh could be the next blue-collar city to host the annual selection meeting.

In a statement, Steelers spokesperson Burt Lauten said that the draft “will draw hundreds of thousands of fans and out-of-town visitors, and we look forward to working with local and state officials and community leaders to ensure we craft a successful bid to host the 2026 or 2027 NFL Draft.”
