Steelers Get Huge Injury News | Noah Strackbein, All Steelers

This is a big week for the Pittsburgh Steelers defense. After waiting for their All-Pro safety to simply return to practice, indicating a potential return, they jumped right to the finish line as Minkah Fitzpatrick is expected to be available in Week 13 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Fitzpatrick has been dealing with a hamstring injury for the last five weeks, missing the last four games for the Steelers. His light was on to return to practice this week, and for the first time since the injury, he took it - and didn’t hold back.

Bigger workload for Jaylen Warren has improved Steelers offense | Brooke Pryor, ESPN

“Jaylen might be the best running back in the NFL,” the youngest Gundy wrote in a message to his dad.

Mike Gundy was in the middle of preparing for the Cowboys’ upcoming game against BYU with a Big 12 Championship game berth on the line when the text arrived from Gage. He glanced at the notification and went back to work. But later that night, he checked to see what Gage sent him. That, in turn, sent him down a Warren highlight rabbit hole.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin ‘expects nothing but’ Cardinals RB James Conner’s ‘absolute best’ in Pittsburgh return

“We can’t allow James Conner to do what James does,” Tomlin said of the running back he selected out of Pitt in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. “Know and love and got a lot of respect for James. He is a legitimate tough guy, a big-time competitor. Expecting nothing but his absolute best coming back into Pittsburgh because I know him.”

Conner was with the Steelers from 2017-2020, emerging as a Pro Bowl back in his second season when he rushed for a career-high 973 yards and ran to 12 touchdowns. A cancer survivor who ran strong and was emblematic of Pittsburgh toughness, Conner signed with the Cardinals ahead of the 2021 season, becoming a Pro Bowler once again with a 15-TD showing.
