Steelers safety Damontae Kazee ejected from game vs. Colts

The star safety laid a violent hit

NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers at Los Angeles Rams Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Steelers safety Damontae Kazee was disqualified from the Steelers’ Week 15 game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Kazee laid a violent hit on Colts receiver Michael Pittman, which caused Pittman to lay injured on the field.

After a few scary moments of uncertainty, Pittman left the field under his own power, and Kazee was ejected from the game. Pittman is currently being evaluated for a concussion.

Kazee had a big hit earlier in the game, as well, but there was no flag thrown.
