Following Week 16’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens came under fire after failing to block for teammate Jaylen Warren as he attempted a run in the red zone... which may have just gone for a touchdown if Pickens had done so. Warren responded by saying he “would have blocked for Pickens,” and boy, did he follow up on that promise in a big way.
As the Steelers set up in the red zone to open up the second quarter of Week 16’s outing against the Bengals, wide receiver Calvin Austin III attempted a run from seven yards out, and Warren laid a nasty block against Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Germaine Pratt to help secure the touchdown.

That touchdown put the Steelers up 14-0 over the Bengals with 14:21 left in the second quarter.
