Steelers Have New Plan at RB | Noah Strackbein, All Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers appear to gradually be moving more toward a different running back rotation at the end of the season, with Jaylen Warren becoming their more widely-used option over Najee Harris.

Over the last two weeks, Warren has out-snapped Harris in the backfield. This week, he played 34 to Harris’s 26 snaps, while last week against the Indianapolis Colts, Warren out-snapped Harris 40-20.

Steelers Will Face Playoff Elimination in Week 17 | Alan Saunders, Steelers Now

The Pittsburgh Steelers will face playoff elimination in Week 17. The Steelers would need to lose to the Seattle Seahawks, and have four other games not go their way in order to be eliminated from the 2023 NFL playoffs before the end of the regular season.

Pittsburgh will see its playoff hopes come to an end if each of these five games don’t go its way:

• Steelers LOSS to the Seattle Seahawks AND

Buffalo Bills WIN over the New England Patriots AND

• Indianapolis Colts WIN over the Las Vegas Raiders AND

Los Angeles Chargers WIN over the Denver Broncos AND

Jacksonville Jaguars WIN over the Carolina Panthers OR

Houston Texans WIN over the Tennessee Titans

Pittsburgh Steelers Should Stick With Mason Rudolph As They Seek Playoff Berth | DJ Siddiqi, Forbes

The Steelers suddenly have life after knocking out their division rival Cincinnati Bengals in a dominant 34-11 showing. With their season sweep of Cincinnati, Pittsburgh holds the head-to-head tiebreaker as both teams hold an 8-6 record entering Week 17.

The Steelers’ 34 points scored was their most in a single game since Week 11 of the 2021 season.

Rudolph — who was making his first start since Week 10 of the 2021 season — immediately made an impact, throwing an 86-yard touchdown pass to George Pickens on his first pass of the game.
