Mason Rudolph will be the starting quarterback for the Steelers this Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, the team announced. It will be Rudolph’s second consecutive start.

Rudolph is coming off an impressive outing against the Cincinnati Bengals, throwing for 290 yards and two touchdowns in the Steelers’ 34-11 victory. The team went into this week with the mindset of Rudolph being the starter, but were keeping the door open for Kenny Pickett as they continued to monitor how he looked in practice as he continues to recover from ankle surgery.

The offense looked as good as it has since the Ben Roethlisberger ere in Week 16, scoring their most points since 2021 when the Steelers put up 37 points on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers. They will need more of that explosiveness against a Seahawks team that is in a playoff race of their own in the NFC.
