Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick suffers broken hand in Week 13

Week 13 marked Fitzpatrick’s first game back from a hamstring injury.

Week 13 was a brutal one for the Pittsburgh Steelers, both in terms of their play on the field and the number of injuries incurred during the game. The bad news was especially fortunate for All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, who suffered a broken hand in Week 13, Steelers HC Mike Tomlin announced after the game.

Though Fitzpatrick was able to get his hand placed in a cast during the extended halftime, and he was able to finish the game, it’s tough sledding considering his greatest value to this defense as a ballhawk.

The Steelers allowed the Cardinals 282 yards and three touchdowns in Week 13, now on a short week set to play the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football.
