We’re just under 90 minutes out from kickoff of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 14 matchup against the New England Patriots, and both teams have officially announced their gameday inactives ahead of Thursday Night Football.

Here’s a look at the Steelers inactives for Week 14’s showdown against the Patriots.

Steelers inactives Week 14

  • QB Kenny Pickett (ankle)
  • CB James Pierre (shoulder)
  • RB Anthony McFarland
  • LB Markus Golden
  • OT Dylan Cook
  • DE DeMarvin Leal

Given the fact that there were four starters listed as questionable heading into this short week, the Steelers hit a stroke of luck against the Patriots, with left guard Isaac Seumalo (shoulder), center Mason Cole (neck), running back Najee Harris (knee) and linebacker Elandon Roberts (groin) all officially — and somewhat surprisingly — active.

Harris, who missed back-to-back practices with a knee injury, was a new addition to the report this week, first popping up on Tuesday after not being listed on Monday’s estimated practice report. If he is, indeed, banged up, teammate Jaylen Warren could be in for a greater role, though he’ll have his hands full against this Patriots rushing defense. Luckily, these backs will have their two starters on the offensive line to help their efforts.

Mason Rudolph is also officially active this week — the first time all season, set to back up Mitch Trubisky, who will notch his first start since being benched for Kenny Pickett in the 2022 season.

Patriots inactives Week 14

  • WR Kayshon Boutte (shoulder)
  • DeVante Parker (shoulder)
  • WR Demario Douglas (concussion)
  • RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle)
  • CB Shaun Wade (illness)
  • OT Riley Reiff (knee)
  • RB Jamycal Hasty
  • OL Vederian Lowe

The New England Patriots offense has struggled, and their team’s current state of injuries hasn’t helped things much. Earlier this year, they lost leading WR Kendrick Bourne to a season-ending knee injury, and now are dealing with injuries all the way down the depth chart with WRs DeVante Parker, Demario Douglas and Kayshon Boutte all out in Week 13, leaving former Steeler JuJu Smith-Schuster as their top option for the week.

With their leading rusher Rhamondre Stevenson out, veteran Ezekiel Elliott will likely see the bulk of work Thursday, with additional involvement as a receiver, coming off a season-high 40 receiving yards with Bailey Zappe under center in Week 13.
