Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mitch Trubisky is making his first start since being benched in the 2022 season in favor of then-rookie Kenny Pickett.

While fans welcomed the potential to see what the depth chart at quarterback would look like after some of the struggles Pickett has had in his tenure, it seems they’ve already decided Trubisky is most definitely not the answer, as the fans at Acrisure Stadium made their displeasure known, loudly chanting “Mason Rudolph” — echoing throughout the field as Rudolph sat on the sideline. The Steelers have totaled just 38 yards to the Patriots’ 126.

Earlier this week, we polled BTSC readers to ask which quarterback they felt would give the team a better chance to make the playoffs, and 76% of respondents called for Rudolph over Trubisky.
